Our Donation Refund Policy

At Kindeaver, we're a dedicated fundraising company that provides a platform to help individuals and organizations (our "fundraisers") collect funds for various causes. Your support means the world to our fundraisers and the causes they champion. We're incredibly grateful for your generosity and want to be completely transparent about how we manage the funds you entrust through our platform, especially concerning refunds.

Kindeaver provides the technology and services that enable our fundraisers to raise money for their specific causes. When you donate through Kindeaver, you're directly contributing to a fundraiser's mission. Because of this, all monetary donations made through the Kindeaver platform are generally considered final and non-refundable. This approach ensures funds reach their intended beneficiaries promptly and consistently, without delay, allowing them to support their vital programs and operations.

How We Process Refunds and Deductions
If your request for a donation error refund is approved and submitted within the 7-day window, we will process the refund back to your original payment method. This refund amount will be deducted from the beneficiary's (fundraiser's) account that holds the donated funds.
In cases where the beneficiary's account has an insufficient balance to cover the refund, Kindeaver is committed to ensuring the refund is processed as long as the request was made within the 7-day window. We will continue to attempt to deduct the necessary funds from the beneficiary's account until the full refund amount can be returned to your original payment method.
Furthermore, even if your refund request is submitted outside the 7-day window, or if the beneficiary's account has insufficient funds, we will still process your refund if you (the donor) have an available balance in your Kindeaver account. This available balance will be used to facilitate the refund back to your original payment method. We ensure that as long as you, the donor, have an available balance with us, we will process your refund.
Please allow 7 to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account after it has been successfully processed. The actual timing may depend on your bank or financial institution.
Managing Recurring Donations
If you've set up a recurring donation and need to modify or cancel it, you can typically do so through your Kindeaver online supporter account. Alternatively, just contact us directly using the details provided above. Any cancellations will apply to future donations. Unfortunately, we generally cannot refund donations that have already been processed as part of a recurring payment schedule, as these funds are promptly put to work for the causes.
